We had a great stay! The view was absolutely beautiful, and the space itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Sarah gave clear instructions for getting there, which made check-in smooth, and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. When we ran out of propane for the grill, Dan immediately arranged a replacement so we could keep enjoying our evening. Overall, a lovely experience and would definitely recommend staying here!

A very cozy place well equipped with everything we needed. The view was beautiful on the days when it was rainy or cloudy. We will plan to return and hope for clear days. If you’re looking to be near any restaurants or attractions, look elsewhere. But that’s what we were looking for a private isolated place where we could get away from everything.

Beautiful views from all around the property! Home was so cozy, and put together. Our teens loved the hot tub and we also loved the fire pit out back with the most serene views!! So peaceful!!! Great host and communication. Getting up the driveway was a little hard and bumpy. I think the bumpy part was because of all the rain we have had in the Carolina. My Infiniti QX60 got us up. Would for sure come back and stay again!!!!! Felt right at home.

The cabin was great and the view was beautiful. Close enough to Morganton to enjoy a meal out but far enough away to be peaceful. The place was clean and had a stocked kitchen so we could cook a few meals. We really enjoyed our weekend there.

As others have stated the pictures do not do this place justice! Absolutely beautiful views right on Burkemont Mountain. Beds were super comfy and the cabin was nice and cozy, plus the hot tub for the added bonus. It’s secluded and also not far from town if you need to grab anything from any of the stores or restaurants. Sarah was also proactive on sending the instructions a day ahead. As well as an app for all details related to the property and local attractions. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was amazing — cozy and had mostly everything we needed. The view was hands down the best we’ve ever had at an Airbnb, and the yard felt truly magical and secluded. The town nearby was wonderful with friendly people, and the hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Keep in mind that it’s a small home, but the view and peaceful setting more than make up for it. The road up is easy to navigate — just be prepared for a few sharp turns. Because it’s more secluded and surrounded by nature, there are definitely bugs around outside, so this spot is best for those who enjoy the outdoors. This is by far our favorite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at — we honestly wish we could buy this property for ourselves! Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking views.

Great spot to relax and enjoy nature. The views are the best we have ever had in a mountain stay. The cabin was peaceful and very private. Very clean and cozy. We will definitely go back to this cabin for another stay.

Sarah was an awesome host! She was very responsive and helped me navigate my way to the location even with it being late at night. She was super helpful. The location is beautiful and the views make the stay definitely worthwhile. Glad to have gotten away for the weekend, thank you Sarah!
