This private cabin with amazing views was a great stay, even though the weather was stormy and blowing during my stay. Perfect for 1-2 people, this getaway is a sweet little space inside and out. It was easy to find and access thanks to excellent communication & instructions from the host. It is at the end of a long, steep, and winding road and sited for privacy / gorgeous views off the back deck (when there isn’t fog). It’s a small cabin but it has everything you could need and the layout is thoughtful and functional. The firm but very soft King sized foam (?) mattress was very comfortable and there were ample towels and a well-stocked kitchen. Internet was consistent even during the storm. I had a lovely time and would come back again.

We had a fantastic stay here and would definitely rebook. Clean home with a beautiful view. Once you get down the mountain (about 15 min) it’s only 10 minutes to downtown Morganton. At the cabin, it feels very private despite having a few neighbors nearby. The cabin had a lot of existing supplies in the kitchen and bathroom that we weren’t expecting, which was a nice touch. I only wish we had booked a longer visit.

We really enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again. The views (in several directions) are breath-taking and the cabin is rustic and pretty. Be aware, the driveway is very steep and unpaved. Our front wheel drive minivan almost made it up…. But not quite. We had to park it a little ways from the top. Worth it for the view!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was new, spotless, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Our whole group really enjoyed the amenities—there were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The views were absolutely beautiful, especially at sunrise. The host had great communication and provided clear guides, which made everything easy and stress-free. Perfect spot for a relaxing and fun getaway!

Great little cabin at the end of the road on a ridge top with great views. Takes a while to get up the mountain, but worth it for the views.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home in Morganton! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was clean, spacious and well-stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor amenities were the true highlight. We spent our days playing competitive rounds on the pickleball court, putting and lounging in the hot tub. In the evenings, we gathered around the fire pit enjoying s'mores and good conversation. The location is peaceful and private! However if you choose to go explore there are plenty of restaurants and cute shops nearby in downtown Morganton. Whether you are traveling with family or a group of friends, this place has something for everyone. We are already planning our next stay!

Our family stayed here for our daughter’s wedding at Hidden Hill. It was the perfect place for us as the venue is so close. The house is spacious and could accommodate the bride and multiple bridesmaids getting ready here on the day of the wedding. There are plenty of outdoor activities for family members to enjoy while visiting pre and post- wedding. The kitchen was well appointed with new appliances and the views were amazing! You don’t have to be hosting a wedding to enjoy this location. My husband and I agreed that with all the bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, this is the perfect place for an extended family get-together. We used all the amenities- putting green, pickleball court, pool, hot tub, corn hole and fire pit. All the accessories are provided and everything is new. The hosts have done a great job of considering all the details, including parking and a dumpster!

The Saturday was fantastic! Great host, neighbors, and location. Absolutely cannot put into words the views from the back porch watching the sunset. for the mountains it was very convenient getting to restaurants and stores. I would highly recommend this stay if you are looking for somewhere in the mountains to get away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I would absolutely stay here again no questions asked.

This place was a peaceful getaway that was MUCH needed! If you are looking to “disconnect” from the world and enjoy some absolutely gorgeous views, this is the place to go!
