The cabin was great and the view was beautiful. Close enough to Morganton to enjoy a meal out but far enough away to be peaceful. The place was clean and had a stocked kitchen so we could cook a few meals. We really enjoyed our weekend there.

As others have stated the pictures do not do this place justice! Absolutely beautiful views right on Burkemont Mountain. Beds were super comfy and the cabin was nice and cozy, plus the hot tub for the added bonus. It’s secluded and also not far from town if you need to grab anything from any of the stores or restaurants. Sarah was also proactive on sending the instructions a day ahead. As well as an app for all details related to the property and local attractions. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was amazing — cozy and had mostly everything we needed. The view was hands down the best we’ve ever had at an Airbnb, and the yard felt truly magical and secluded.
The town nearby was wonderful with friendly people, and the hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Keep in mind that it’s a small home, but the view and peaceful setting more than make up for it. The road up is easy to navigate — just be prepared for a few sharp turns.
Because it’s more secluded and surrounded by nature, there are definitely bugs around outside, so this spot is best for those who enjoy the outdoors.
This is by far our favorite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at — we honestly wish we could buy this property for ourselves! Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking views.

Great spot to relax and enjoy nature. The views are the best we have ever had in a mountain stay. The cabin was peaceful and very private. Very clean and cozy. We will definitely go back to this cabin for another stay.

The view is real people. It is breathtaking and goes on forever. Morganton is a cute little town, definitely worth a visit. The cabin is cute & clean (matches the pics online).

I had a wonderful stay at this mountain house. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful sound of nature made it incredibly relaxing. The hot stub was a perfect touch, especially in the evenings. If you’re looking for tranquility with stunning scenery, this is the place!
Sara was very attentive and responded immediately.

Sarah was an awesome host! She was very responsive and helped me navigate my way to the location even with it being late at night. She was super helpful. The location is beautiful and the views make the stay definitely worthwhile. Glad to have gotten away for the weekend, thank you Sarah!

This place was amazing. The view was stunning. The most amazing view I’ve ever had in my life. It changed each irking and night with the sun and clouds. Like God was painting a new canvas day after day.
The cabin was perfect. I came up to disconnect from the world, read and pray. I never left except to walk!
Comfortable bed, huge porch to lounge on.
I’ll be back for sure!

Looking at the pictures you would think they cleared trees for no reason. After showing up you realize you wouldn’t be able to see the miles of mountain tops without clearing what they did on the property. There are plenty of trees around to give that in the woods feel while giving one of the best views possible. Definitely not a good fit if the guest is handicapped but one of the better places if you are ok going up stairs into the cabin and the main bedroom. Waking up to a window view like this one makes you want to stay in bed longer but luckily you can have that coffee outside on the porch. I also liked the added picnic table on the porch to have breakfast and dinner outside. The fire pit has a clearing that was well planned and scenic.

such an amazing spot with beautiful views all around it not the first time staying here and hopefully wont be the last from sunrise to sunset being able to look into the mountains in either direction is incredible the cabin is just as awesome 10/10 recommend!
